Septic soil and site plan: Where a septic system is allowed, the Southern Nevada Health District requires a soil boring reaching at least 5 ft below the proposed leach field depth (a geotechnical report or percolation test with boring log usually suffices) and a site plan showing watercourses such as washes and flood control channels.
